As a Program Manager, your responsibilities will be:
  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day activities of running a program or portfolio of programs;
  • Plan the overall program and monitor the progress;
  • Define the program governance (controls);
  • Ensure program plans meet business needs as described in the program initiation documents;
  • Ensures all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones;
  • Ensures all areas of the program are appropriately staffed and monitors program commitment from those assigning resources;
  • Creates the program risk management plan, appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made and escalates program risks to the Head of PMO, Portfolio leaders or business/product partners;
  • Makes recommendations for training and development needs for assigned personnel;
  • Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions;
  • Ensures essential procedures are followed and contributes to defining standards.

Yêu cầu

  • At least 5+ years of experience in program management or project management in software development industry with proven records in managing multiple projects across function/portfolios/squads;
  • Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
  • The ability and experience in managing dependencies across multiple teams/portfolio;
  • Experienced in change management, Agile and Scrum methodologies;
  • Deep working knowledge of Agile best practices;
  • Strong people skills to coordinate work and enable collaboration across teams; strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and work effectively with the Senior Management team or board of executives;
  • Strong leadership and management skills;
  • Good knowledge of resource allocation procedures; and
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
